Phlex Carbon Chopped HSC
High-strength, standard-modulus chopped carbon fiber precision cut into short-length fiber materials. Available in multiple fiber lengths, with seeded forms available to increase bulk density and improve flow for automatic feeding and metering.
Phlex Carbon Chopped IMC
Intermediate-modulus chopped carbon fiber manufactured using aerospace-grade carbon fiber. These precision-cut, short-length fibers are repurposed from manufacturing processes and are available in multiple lengths.
Seeded forms are also available for increased bulk density and improved flow in automatic feeding and metering applications.
Phlex Carbon SPCF 12K Tow
Continuous carbon fiber supplied on spools/bobbins and available in both HSC and IMC grades. Bobbins can be re-wound to customer-specified weights, with air splice or tight-knot re-winding options available.
Phlex Carbon SPCF is also available in 24K Tow.
Phlex Carbon CFM
A wet-laid mat of randomly oriented carbon fibers designed for closed, and open-mold infusion, prepreg, and compression molding. PhlexCarbon CFM utilizes repurposed carbon fibers and is available using high-strength (standard-modulus) or intermediate-modulus fiber, with multiple areal weights and custom weights available.
Phlex Carbon CFTM
A wet-laid mat of randomly oriented carbon fibers co-mingled with thermoplastic fibers for compression molding. Available using high-strength or intermediate-modulus carbon fiber, PhlexCarbon CFTM can be combined with standard thermoplastics such as PP, PET and PA6, as well as advanced fibers including PPS and PEEK.
Phlex size Carbon Fiber Sizing
High-performance aqueous sizing dispersions engineered to enhance fiber–matrix compatibility, optimize composite performance and improve manufacturing efficiency. Our sizing offering includes solutions for unique resin systems such as PA66, PEEK, PEKK and epoxy, with technical expertise available to help identify the right sizing for your resin system. All Phlexsize options can be used with our chopped carbon fiber products.
